Tiger Woods Ready To Return To Golf

22/12/21

- Grant Whittington

It’s been only 10 months since Tiger Woods survived the terrible car accident that resulted in his right leg being severely damaged and requiring extensive surgery. But already, close friends, family, and the media, are reporting a remarkable recovery by the golf legend. Not only that, but the 15-time major champion is even said to be preparing for an imminent re-entry back into competition.

This has become apparent after the golfer was recently spotted playing golf with his 12-year-old son, Charlie, as well as friend Mike Thomas, showing excellent form and recuperation from his injuries.

Plans To Enter Next PNC Championship

Tiger has further announced that he and Charlie are set to play together in the upcoming PNC Championship. New online bookies and fans are going to be hugely excited by this news.

Though a long way off from the majors, the family-oriented PNC Championship is nevertheless a highly watched and anticipated golf event, and also will serve as an adequate light entry-point back into competition for Woods. It will also be a good opportunity for the world to see if Tiger is truly back in form.

Though singing praises of his recovery after a recent game with Woods, Mike Thomas, the renowned golf coach and father of pro golfer, Justin Thomas, who are also the winners of the 2021 PNC Championship, has also since confirmed the golfers’ intentions for a gradual re-entry.

“It’s crazy how good he’s hitting — and far he’s hitting — for what he’s been through,” Mike stated in a recent interview. “In terms of competing, I think his expectations are very low…” also adding, “But at the same time, he is who he is for a reason.” Referring to Tiger’s tremendous drive for success, and his inevitable return to professional golf.

Low Expectations For The Future

Despite his amazing recuperation and continued vigour and eagerness to compete, Tiger insists, though, that he is not the golf player he used to be, which is understandable considering the extent and severity of his injuries. Will this continue to be true though, and will he manage to regain his position at the top? These are questions that will likely remain unanswered for some time ahead, and new online bookies will be eager to see how he performs.

Meanwhile, Tiger and Charlie are simply looking forward to playing together again, after making quite the team in the last PNC Championship, where Charlie practically stole the spotlight from his famous dad. Whatever happens, for the moment Tiger wants to focus on is having this special quality time with his son, before getting back into the full swing of heavy competition.
