New UK Bookmakers Excited About Man U Coach Update

08/12/21

- Grant Whittington

If Ralf Rangnick has his way, Chris Armas may soon be joining the coaching staff at Manchester United. New UK bookmakers and fans will be thrilled if this happens, as it could be a game-changer for the team. Armas, 49, is known to have previously coached Toronto FC for Major League Soccer. He worked with the team until he was officially let go in July.

Of course, there is an existing connection between the two men. Rangnick is already intimately familiar with Armas, given the man’s six year previous coaching stint that was previously done for the New York Red Bulls. Hence the past relationship now seems to be bringing the pair together again under the Manchester United umbrella.

Though, the situation is still very much up in the air, with a number of hurdles first needing to be overcome for plans to be fully realised. But the new betting sites UK has to offer are hopeful the deal will be done.

A Complicated Procedure

It has been hinted that Rangnick will be announcing his intention of expanding the coaching staff at an upcoming press conference. But the situation is more complicated that it seems on the surface. In order to join the staff, Armas will need a work permit, and this is not a requirement that is easy as it once was.

In a recent statement, Rangnick shed more light on the situation. He first said that he is happy working with his current staff, given that the shared expertise of the team is greatly needed. Though, he went on to clarify that he still intends on adding up to three new members to the line-up, who may join his workforce in a few weeks. But, he went on to explain that getting in additional members isn’t as simple a procedure as it was previously, given that obtaining work permits has become significantly more complicated due to post-Brexit regulations. This is something that has affected new UK bookmakers too.

The Smart Approach

Rangnick also explained that he has looked at a number of his other colleagues as potential candidates. He stressed that he has considered video analysts, assistant coaches and many others, but was disappointed to learn that most are currently obliged to other long term contracts.

He continued by saying that it is a matter of being smart when it comes to finding the right people for the right job, but didn’t expand on the topic. His conclusion is that a number of new faces could be added to his staff in the coming weeks but declared that he is unable to specify any names at the moment.

Now, new betting sites UK simply have to wait and see if Man U gets a new coach, and what that will mean for the team’s performance as a whole.
